Alright, everyone! In order to celebrate hitting 1,000 followers and all of the fun I have had here on Tumblr (my internet home), I have decided to do a giveaway. I am giving away the following items:

• A replica of the 11th Doctor’s sonic screwdriver.
   
• A replica of Hermione’s time turner from Prisoner of Azkaban.
   
• A replica of The One Ring from Lord of the Rings (US size 10, but can be worn on a chain like Frodo does).
   
• A Derek and Stiles plushie combo so you can ship them even in real life!
  
  
• A special item for each of the winners which I shall reveal as the time for the random drawing comes closer.

I am picking four different winners; one for each item (or set of items in the case of the plushies). The way this works is simple: when you reblog this post, make sure you put which item it is you want out of the four. I will then randomly select four different winners for each of the items.

They will never forget her — while she can never remember. … But for one moment… one shining moment… she was the most important woman in the whole wide universe.

I still get teary eyed and it’s been at least a month. True story. I was ugly crying for ten minutes when I first saw it, I shit you not!

… okay, I can understand that she is loud and boisterous, but she was an incredible companion for the Doctor and she did so much good for him. She was fascinated and excited about the journeys that they went on together, but she wasn’t entirely enamored of him either. Because of that, she wasn’t afraid to tell him when his decision was blatantly wrong. She wasn’t afraid to challenge him when she felt the need to and because of this, she was able to change him for the better in ways that many of his other companions couldn’t.  She was his “mate.” His best one too, if I might say so… and they loved one another in a way that was just as strong as Rose, Martha, and River’s romantic affection and Amy and Rory’s platonic/familial love.

They gave each other what the other needed and she made the Doctor a better man. Rose healed the Doctor, the one who loved. Martha kept him going. But was it Donna who questioned him and losing her is what finally pushed him over the edge and made him snap. She says so herself, when he claims that he doesn’t need her even at the beginning of their friendship, “Yes you do. Because sometimes you need someone to stop you.” And then he admits it himself after Pompeii.

And then there’s…

Donna: I was gonna be with you. Forever.
Doctor: I know.
Donna: Rest of my life. Traveling. In the TARDIS. The Doctor Donna. Oh, my, I can’t go back. Don’t make me go back. Doctor, please! Please don’t make me go back.
Doctor: Donna. Oh, Donna Noble. I am so sorry. But we had the best of times. The best.

… so sure… she can be annoying and she’s not the gorgeous love interest of the Doctor or his in-laws. She was even more than that. She was his best damned friend. And as annoying and loud and obnoxious as she can get, she was, in my opinion, one of the best damn companions on the show.
